The Child Nurse Practice Development Initiative is embarking on a multi-centre intervention research programme with nurses to increase active engagement of mothers of sick children. This programme is in its design phase and needs to appoint a research lead for a three year contract post, renewable on grant funding,
This position provides an opportunity to work with a team of nurse educators and practitioners who are working towards achieving the best possible health outcomes for children. The successful candidate will be required to act as the research programme lead in various clinical practice sites working with small groups of participants in practice related research.
A passionate learner and information collector, the candidate will be someone who enjoys achieving excellent outcomes with and through others. Seeing patterns and connecting the dots is what you do best. As someone who is patient with people and who likes to come alongside others, you will value being able to apply strategically sought knowledge to support the specific goals and outcomes of this Initiative.
The annual remuneration package is between R413 365 – R595 903.
