An appropriately qualified and experienced health researcher is required to join our team on a fulltime, three year contract basis, with the objective of playing a coordination role in the South African Guideline Excellence Project (SAGE), an MRC Flagship funded grant of the South African Cochrane Centre.
The candidate should have a background in health related research, with experience in project management and implementation of research for successful delivery according to timelines and budget. They will be required to develop and implement protocols for conducting relevant research related to South African primary health care guideline development and implementation evaluation. The candidate should have knowledge of systematic reviews and the principles of knowledge translation. They should have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to work with multi-disciplinary teams. They should be competent to communicate with media and develop communication strategies and products relevant for the project.

A cost-to-company remuneration package in the region of R 500 968 per annum will be negotiated in accordance with qualifications and experience.
