Cell-Life is looking for a mobile health (mHealth) Project Associate, based at its offices in Cape Town. The position will involve working on some of Cell-Life’s mHealth services in health promotion and maternal health. Areas of work will include assisting in:
The position requires a range of skills and experience:
A relevant first degree is required. We would ideally like a graduate in public health, communications or social work with at least one year’s work experience. Ability to speak and write in multiple South African languages would be an advantage. The position will involve some travel.
The mHealth services created will use a range of platforms/technologies including SMS, USSD, voice and MXit. The position will report to one of Cell-Life’s mHealth Project Coordinators. The contract will be for a year, with the option of renewing. Experience in social and behaviour change communications and mhealth would be a strong recommendation.
