This fully funded fellowship programme, building upon the MAC AIDS Fund Leadership Inititative led by the HIV Center at Columbia University, is designed to support the emergence of new leaders who will contribute to the development of effective approaches that reduce the spread and impact of HIV & AIDS and gender-based violence, and to promote gender equality.

Fellows will attend three full-time, residential training workshops between June 2012 and February 2013. Under the guidance and supervision of experts in the field, Fellows will develop an HIV and gender-based violence prevention pilot project during the first training workshop and will implement the project between July 2012 and March 2013. 1. Dear Phineas, The requirements state that you need to have a permanent residency (not a temporary residency as comes with a work permit), so I am not sure if they will accept you. However, I would just contact Lisa Wiebesiek-Pienaar at or on 031 242 5684 and ask. Kind regards, Annette
