Health Care Leadership & Governance Conference

The Department of Health has come up with the National Core Standards, a strategic and vital tool for addressing the nation’s health care deficiencies. The achievements of quality care in all health facilities through the implementation of the National Core Standards, lies deeply in the way these facilities will be lead and governed. The need for a vigorous change in health care management cannot be over emphasised and hence this gathering will bring together senior management from health institutions to foster a deeper understanding of strategic leadership and management skills needed to drive health facilities to meet set goals of health care standards and quality care for patients amidst the current political, economic and social trends bedevilling the health sector. All health facilities management are called to register. The conference runs from 30-31 May in Johannesburg.
