Monitoring and Evaluations Officer

The President’s Emergency Plan for Aids Relief (PEPFAR) Fellowship Programme offers an exciting opportunity for masters’ level students and graduates to be placed with Childline Limpopo for a twelve month paid fellowship.

Location: Polokwane, Limpopo

The fellows job description will intail the following:

  • Developing quality MER programmes for Childline Limpopo.
  • Implementing the process and methodologies of a quality MER programme towards the OVC programme objectives in Limpopo.
  • Monitoring the routine tracking of priority information (indicators) regarding the OVC programme.
  • Evaluating the outcome of activities designed to determine the impact of the OVC programme.
  • Reporting to internal and external audiences regarding the progress of the implementation plan of the OVC Community Development Programme.
  • Maintain administration and reporting procedures.
  • To develop personal competency for quality of work.
  • To demonstrate computer literacy in line with the operational requirements

Degree Requirements: Masters in Public Health, Epidemiology or Social Science with a strong interest in Monitoring and Evaluation or data management. Familiarity with public health and social indicators will be an advantage.

Personal Requirements: To apply for this position you must have completed a Masters Degree or have completed 80% of your Masters course work. South African citizenship or permanent residence is essential.
