Southern Vaccine Advocacy Challenge

The Southern Vaccine Advocacy Challenge (SVAC)/Defi Promotion de la vaccination dans le Sud (DPVS) is now open for applications.

This is an exciting new program that aims to fund innovative ideas to strengthen public and political support for vaccines in low- and middle-income countries. Launched as a pilot project, the SVAC/DPVS will award five grants of up to $10,000 USD each to support innovative advocacy initiatives around a specific vaccine-related event, issue or policy.

We are encouraging innovators from organizations based in low- and middle-income countries to apply with their bold ideas. Each grant will be selected based on the project’s likelihood for impact, innovation and creativity, scalability, and technical merit and execution plans.

For more information check our website.  The deadline for applications is October 24, 2011.
