PEPFAR Fellow with the Desmond Tutu HIV Foundation [Cape town]

Job Description:

Key Performance Areas:

  • Ensure that data are accurately collected and entered into the database
  • Perform regular data queries to ensure data is “clean”
  • Collate Laboratory CD4 and TB data
  • Present monthly stats to project manager, compile monthly City of Cape Town stats and compile quarterly reports to all funders
  • Review and adapt the existing monitoring and evaluation plan
  • In conjunction with the project manager, assess the current work flow and procedures on the Tutu Tester and update SOPS as required

Under supervision of senior researchers at the Foundation, submit abstracts and papers describing the Tutu Tester’s work 

Location: Cape Town

Degree Requirements: Masters degree in Public Health

Personal Requirements: To apply for this position you must have completed a Masters Degree or have completed 80% of your Masters course work. South African citizenship or permanent residence is essential.

Contract: 12 months

Commencement Date: 1 October 2011. Applications close 29 July
