Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist for the Human Science Research Council (HSRC)

Job Description: The successful candidate will be expected:

  • To assist with data management of a PEPFAR- funded Information and M&E project.
  • To assist with the evaluation of the availability and quality of core and expanded indicators required by the National Strategic Plan for HIV&AIDS and STI 2007-2011.
  • To help maintain an up-to-date indicator database for the NSP and UNGASS indicators
  • To assist with the development of indicators for the new NSP

Degree requirement: Masters in Public Health, Epidemiology or Social Science with a strong interest in Monitoring and Evaluation or data management. Familiarity with public health, social and economic indicators will be an advantage.

Location of position: Cape- Town, Western- Cape Province

This is a 12 month contract and you will be expected to work full- time.
