Scholarships Health Management Programme

The Foundation for Professional Development (FPD) provides scholarships for its Health Management Programme. This is an entry level management programme that successfully develops the skills of new managers, supervisors, and team leaders within the HIV/AIDS environment. Students that enroll on this programme are exposed to complex business environments and are challenged to think differently through self-assessment and reflection. By examining a range of management concepts, students discover winning techniques that improve their ability to manage in an ever changing world. The most relevant management subjects have been weaved together to form a solid foundation for the emerging manager. FPD's approach is to combine excellent theory and personal experience, which results in a management programme that is both inspiring and practical. This programme is run over 10 months and comprises 10 one day contact sessions and distance learning.

A limited number of scholarships is available to students from Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Malawi, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Lesotho and Swaziland.
