IEA World Congress of epidemiology

The International Epidemiology Association (IEA)  Conference will be held from 7-11 August 2011 in Edinburgh, Scotland.  

The Congress theme is reflected in the title: “Changing populations, changing diseases: Epidemiology for Tomorrow’s World.” Within this future-orientated theme the full span of research across the many disciplines contributing to epidemiology and public health science and practice will be discussed.

In addition to grappling with today’s problems across the globe, the conference will forecasts , in terms of diseases (including uncovering causes); health effects of environmental and demographic change; and theoretical, conceptual and technical developments in epidemiology.

The congress tries to achieve representation from every country in the world to achieve a unique, international dialogue. More information on the registration process for the congress can be found at the congress website
